Founding partner of the firm, Alberto Contini has always focused his activity on the protection of intellectual property rights, as well as the draft and negotiation of commercial contracts.
He has significant judicial experience in protecting confidential information and addressing unfair competition, achieving some of the most notable orders in recent years. He has managed important litigation related to patents (in particular electronic patents, computer implemented inventions patents and SEP), trademarks, designs, and software copyright.
He excels in drafting and negotiating contracts involving major intangible assets (license agreements, assignment agreements, R&D, distribution, agency agreements, non-compete agreements, confidentiality agreements, etc.) and has participated in several M&A transactions, driven by intellectual property rights.
His academic work primarily focuses on the protection of designations of origin and geographical indications, as well as new technologies. He collaborates with leading Italian law firms on intellectual property matters and regularly assists national and international clients.
As a speaker, he joined several national conferences on intellectual property. He has been a lecturer at the Level II Master's Degree in Food Law organized by the LUISS School of Law since 2018. He has been a member of AIPPI (International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property) since 2010 and has been recognized as an “Associate to Watch” by the Chambers Europe directory for the Italian intellectual property market since 2020.
